Jasdeep was born and raised in Surrey, BC, where he developed a passion for justice and advocacy from an early age. After completing high school, he pursued a degree in Criminology at Simon Fraser University, further deepening his understanding of legal systems and human behavior. Eager to expand his legal knowledge, Jasdeep then traveled to Queensland, Australia, to obtain his law degree at Bond University.
During his time at Bond University, Jasdeep actively participated in moot trials, mediations, negotiations, and client interviews, sharpening his advocacy skills and strengthening his ability to resolve disputes effectively. It was during law school that he developed a keen interest in family law, recognizing its profound impact on individuals and families.
Upon earning his Bachelor of Laws degree, Jasdeep returned to Surrey, BC, and began the process of obtaining his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation. While working toward this accreditation, he gained hands-on experience working at a law firm as a receptionist and assistant, further immersing himself in the legal profession.
Jasdeep was called to the bar in May 2022. During his articles, he practiced family law and has never looked back. Since becoming a lawyer, Jasdeep has represented clients in Provincial Court and Supreme Court trials, demonstrating his commitment to strong legal advocacy. He is dedicated to serving his clients’ best interests, even if that means traveling outside the Lower Mainland. He has participated in lengthy trials in cities such as Victoria, BC, Sechelt, BC, among others.
Beyond litigation, Jasdeep has extensive experience in mediations, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution methods. He understands that family law matters can be some of the most stressful times in a person’s life, which is why he strives to make the process as seamless as possible. His goal is to resolve conflicts amicably through negotiation and mediation, reducing both the financial and emotional toll on his clients; However, when courtroom advocacy is required, Jasdeep is prepared to fight vigorously for his clients.
